Hi
There doesn't seem to be much going on in the Solaufein forum and I know lots of folks here use mods, so I'm hoping someone can answer this one here.
When playing the Solaufein romance, sometimes he will say "I have seen no one". Not as part of his sound set but in the text box. This tends to appear just after a banter or love talk.
Is this significant? Also, doesn't the poor fellow have any flirts? Sad
More practically speaking, I've seen some reference to "auto-buffing" spells for Solaufein (in the readme file) that seems to be unique to this mod. Where and how is such a thing accomplished?
Question re Solaufein mod
Solafein is one of the oldest and most well-known mods of Baldur's Gate. However, because of that he isn't as... developed as the later NPC mods. Let's just say evolution began with him.
Add that to the lack of updates on the mod several months (years?) back, and you'll understand why he doesn't have voicing or flirts.
But there's hope, however. On the 'inactive site' you're talking about there's a bit of activity. They're even working on adding flirts to the romance. Can't truly say when or even if they finish it, though. The site can be found here (they moved it some time ago from Weimer's site to the Pocketplane site).
As for the auto-buffing spells, I'm not really sure how that works, but you might want to check two things.
One: check if it is possible to assign a special script to Sola (I believe it's called 'sola autobuff script').
Two: try pressing the letters ‘S’, ‘F’ or ‘N’ when you have Solafein selected and see what happens.

Thanks for your reply.
I have completed the Solaufein mod and it's my favourite of the ones I've played. (flirts would be nice - for all their evilness, BG Drows seem to have some interesting, ahem, pastimes
You were right about the buff thing being a script. It worked as you described a few times (by pressing F) but later on nothing happened, even after a rest and when there were no monsters about. But then, I've not had much luck with messing about with scripts.
