BG2 cheat doesn't work

After I updated my BG2 to the new version. The CreateItem cheat no longer works. Whenver I try to create something, it says error cannot find file. Can somebody tell me what's going on?

What are you using...Ctrl & Spacebar..or....Ctrl & Tab..?

Did you check the BG.ini file to see if it still enables the cheat code?
