Nines vs Lacriox

Hey guys

I got the motivation recently and i am making another vampy music video. Its Basically about nines kicking lacroix's ass.. always fun.. well, mostly..

the point is i need some moments i can chuck in. Basicaly, all i know im doing so far is getting clips from

the beginning scene
the scene from when he chases off sabbat upon ur arrival to downtown
I was also pondering modding my character to making him kill lacroix at the end.

apart from that im lost. does anyone know some great nines or lacroix moments I could chuck in?

I was wondering when you were going to make a new video. This one sounds interesting. I'm not terribly creative, so I don't have any ideas for you now. I'll think about it, though.

If the "versus Lacroix" part is important, you could maybe tuck in the moment where Lacroix announces he's calling the bloodhunt on Nines. And maybe also the moment you meet Ming-Jao after Hotel Hallowbrook where she says "As you can see I was instrumental to his plans" and changes into Nines.
You might have to leave the subtitles because I don't know whether it would be possible to combine spoken dialogue with the music you're going to put on it.

An option to get "filler" scenes would be to use the multiplayer mod and stage and record a fight between the two of them, using maybe pictures or very small sequences from it. I don't know how far the modmakers are at the moment and if it is possible to do any damage to other players, but it could be worth a shot... just an idea though.

Neither of the two ever fight much. I think you're best shot is re-skinning some other character and yourself. Maybe re-skin one of the Ventrue in the ending sequence as LaCroix, re-skin yourself as nines, and get medieval on him. You were the one who re-skinned yourself as Jeanette, right?

I had an idea for a good scene. Reskin yourself as Nines, and reskin Nines as LaCroix. Choose the independant game ending. Then you've got a scene of Nines turning his back on LaCroix and giving him the finger.

Anaximander.. I love you.. lol. seriously, what would i do without you.. youve helped me with like every question, you are a god.. lol. The idea for the end, the finger to lacroix.. i would have never thought of that, your fabulous. And im going to try and make this asap, but due to computer issues i had to uninstall and reinstall.. seeing nines and lacroix in those pictures while it was installing inspired me

so im basically starting from scratch with not alot of time. But i will have it done. lol again, your fabulous

I'm sorry, but I totally forgot something. If you're going to skin nines after Griffith Park, you have to do the Scar-face Nines. What with the werewolf and all. I don't know how much that complicates things.

It doesn't, really. Same model, two different skins. The ones with damage are clearly named so you can't confuse them with the others.

In the same vein, you could mimic part of his fight with the werewolf by giving your character a Nines skin, put on god-mode and start beating on wolfie.

Won't work. Trust me - I've fought that thing with everything in the pickle-barrel for an hour - of real time. Cheat-coding blood points, armor, strength, dex, - you name it. You can't hurt the thing.

well thats a tad unfortunate. I remember one time, i couldnt be bothered killing or whatever so i stuck on noclip and notarget and flew and floated above where your person waits for the cart. the sneaky bastard still found me and killed me.. even with notarget! rude much? lol

Im not sure how high i was.. i think i was like, i wasnt a tiny bit off the floor i was a good.. length and a half off the ground.. inside the building, but with my head like touching the ceiling.. i think.. lol

not sure, it was a while and a half ago

OK, Confirmed. With the Werewolf, he can attack you if you are within arm's reach. If you have noclip on, and you are just out of arm's reach, you're safe as houses.

If the goal is to get footage of Nines doing battle with the werewolf, then all you really have to do is dress up like Nines, toggle god mode on, and have it. You can't kill the beast, but with god mode enabled it can't hurt you either. Then you can film to your heart's content. Maybe do cam_yaw 90 or cam_yaw 270 for a side view, and get some of those burning trees in the background....

oh hell..

just when it was going so well

ive made 40 seconds.. its pretty.. swell.. ish.. so far.. so continuing the game, i go to the giovanni, kick those losers to a pestilance pulp and truck the sarcophagus back to lacroix. it loads and hes standing waiting for me to talk to him. i walk over and he tells me abt the bloodhunt on nines.. asks where the sarcophagus is and i reply, oh it was stolen from a museum

then he sends me to get it from gary

WHAT THE HELL

have you guys faced anything like this? tips on how to fix it? i got 1.2 and 3.3 done on my comp.. please help, guys
