(Spoilers) Final battle with Irenicus

i have been able to initiate the final fight with irenicus by using the tears of bhaal to open the gate and do battle loads of times before but on one occasion i saved after opening a few of the gates, now i have one more gate to open but one of the tears of bhaal that i need to open the final part of the gate has disapeared from my inventory, if anyone can shed some light onto this i would be most appreciative.

I'm not sure why it would have disappeared from your inventory, but you may be able to use Shadowkeeper to edit your save game and put the item back. You can download the program here:
