wizards eye a powerful friend

There was a nice topic on what the best spell was. I think that most agreed on magic missile, flame arrow and melf's meteor and a few more. I found that wizards eye is one of the most efficient spells, it is especially good Vs dragons and liches (since they seem to attack it and don't mind the big axe in their back). It makes the most impossible fights easy and you don't lose one single hit point. I always keep "an eye" in front of me and if it spots a mage or anything I just use long range spells like clouds, fire ball or ice storm before the nasty protection spells comes. I haven't yet seen a wizard eye been destroyed it gets badly injured and that's it.
I think this as a very good tactic and I don't see this as cheating.

Yup! and it works great for Irenicus too. He just keeps hittin the eye with everything he has without any effect (until he mazes it), a great way to reduce his selection of destructive spells

I killed one.

In the beginning Irenicus dungeon I ran it over and over and over al the thousands of traps in the chaple-looking area. Took quite a while to kill it, but it did manage to take down everyone in the room while it was running around.
