Thinking about studying into a new campaign setting.

Post by Siberys »

I'm thinking of getting a new campaign setting, buying a few books here and there. Though, I'm looking for something relatively small (I.E. nothing the size of Eberron, Forgotten Realms, or Dragonlance [already got FR and eberron anyways]).

So, can anyone recommend me a campaign setting? I've heard good things about Arcana Unearthed, but then I wonder if they have a Ravenloft campaign setting that's at least up to third edition dungeons and dragons.
Listen up maggots, Mr. Popo's 'bout to teach you the pecking order.
It goes you, the dirt, the worms inside of the dirt, Popo's stool, Kami, then Popo.

I recommend checking out the Expedition to Castle Ravenloft adventure. It provides a really nice base for a Ravenloft campaign, in which many of the blanks can be filled in.

I ran the adventure when it first hit, and had a great time with it, especially when combined with the Heroes of Horror book...
