stackable spell immunity spells?

Post by jefklak »

Just wondering...
Casting two spell immunities (protection against different schools of course) will not cause your char avatar to display two spell immunity icons. I was fighting a lich a couple of days ago, and the bastard still removed my buffs using remove magic, while I had spell immunity: abjuration active. I first casted SI: abjuration and then divination to protect against True Sight. Does this mean my abjuration SI is being cancelled out and only the last one is active?

Should be this way, since casting 5 or so SI's will render you immune to all stuff.

Thanks :)

I have no problems casting more than one spell protection on me, although only one spell icon will show up, they are all working, in fact it is a favorite overkill tactic of mine casting Time Stop, Greater Alacrity and Spell Immunity to each and every school. :) If you get hit with a spell protection remover, the oldest Spell Immunity will vanish. Spell Immunity: Abjuration should protect against Remove Magic. So what you experienced sounds strange. Did this happen only once or were you able to reproduce it?

I tested it a long time ago, with the help of the Wild Mage bug and I can safely say that it will render you immune to all spells... so technically you can be untouchable by anything.
