I hate to even ask this, but....I've paid no attn to alchemy so far (starting Ch. 3) but now I need to create some essences and I can't find a Mortar & Pestle anywhere. Where to Find/buy ??????

I'm pretty sure I saw one for sale by one of the merchants in Act 1, but I think that was Sand. If he's in your party (and no longer a merchant) then I guess you can't get it. Maybe the gnome in the merchant's district has one.

I think you can get one in neverwinter shop district from that guy who specializes in crafting materials. I know for certain that I bought one from a vendor somewhere.

If you are in act III then the only place to get one is from .... like swcarter said. There are a few places to get them in Act I and II (freebie in Fort Locke by the crafter guy, Sand's shop, and a couple of the other ones in Neverwinter).

Or, you can use the console to make one on the spot.
