Snow globe quest question...

Is there any possible way/workaround to killing the dragon in the snowglobe quest? I really don't want to kill any dragons (I've never killed dragons in previous Black Isle games), so I was wondering if there was any way to avoid killing it.

Note, I accept any workarounds that include mods or "cheating" if needed to get whatever item I need for the quest without killing the dragon.

I don't think so.

He's scripted to attack once you have the amulet.

Thanks, I managed to get by using an item code to bring me the item.
