*Accidentally* Finished SoA (SPOILERS)

Post by RPG Guy (sorta) »

At what point is the point-of-no-return for the final battle with Irenicus?

I accidentally finished the game, killing him in hell. For some reason, I thought he would escape again.

There are 2 or 3 things I wanted to do in amn before formally finishing the game like killing Firkraag and seeing what my apprentice mages create for me during the third and final trial inside the Planar Sphere.

But it seems that once you take the latern to that dood at the Elven camp (after killing Bodhi), you're wisked away to Suldanessallar without notice and nay a chance to return to Athkatla.

There should have been some damn warning!

Anyways, is there a way or are you basically screwed once Chapter 7 kicks off? Honestly, I thought there were 10 chapters in this biotch.

You can leave Suldanesselar if you want to. Honestly I think the point of no return isn't until you actually start fighting Irenicus after destroying the parasites.

hmmm...I tried that but I'm not getting the 'wheel' or 'gear' icon at any of the edges of the map.

Wonder if I have another bug. Googling...

Thanks Unc

I have experienced this myself, and it turned out to be a bug of some kind....
Unfortunately, I can't recall what I did to solve the problem, I suspect I may have returned to an earlier save prior to handing over the Lantern

Normally, you should be able to return to the other areas, I have done so many times myself....

Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.
