main hand Vs. offhand dual wield question

Post by Virgil57 »

Its probably been asked before so I'm sorry (I did search the archives though, with no luck). If you dual wield to weapons take celestial fury (main hand) and Belm (off hand), assuming at least 1 * in katana and scimatar, you wuold get 4 attacks per round. My question is how are those 4 attacks divided among the main and off hand weapons? Is it 50/50 or does that main hand get more and the off hand less.

All but one go to mainhand weapon. So even if you used a greater whirlwind giving you 10 attacks 9 would go to celestial fury and still just one to belm

Maximum number of attacks per round is five and maximum off hand attacks per round is 1. However whirlwind and improved haste doubles the number of rounds somehow so you in 10 attacks you would have two with your off hand. I know this sounds strange and partly because my explanation sucks but this is the way it works in the game.
