Stuck in Ust'Natha - HELP!!

so im playing SoA for the first time.. great game.. and now im stuck
Im stuck in Ust'Natha for my disguise has been lifted ( i was late to meet Phaere for her to give me the fake eggs) and the Matron Mother has sealed off the Main Gate, so i cant get out fo the city. I cant find neither Phaere nor the Mother and ive killed everybody else in the city. What to do? I was caught up in the game and my last save was all the way back in the sewers. What to do? should i cheat and teleport out? or is there some way to open the gates?
help much appreciated.

First thing is to do an advanced search on this forum. The question has been asked before, and many suggestions were given. Try Ust'Natha (or just Natha, if the apostrophe causes problems). The site owner doesn't like thread duplication in the database; plus, this way, you get plenty of answers as soon as possible.

If those answers don't work, let us know.

so im still stuck

so i tried killing EVERYONE... i have looked all over the map and no cant find a single soul. i even killed the flayers that were blue.. yet i still cant get out.. is there any place in particular that took you a long time to find the last Drows?

Have you tried clicking on the gate, to see if that will open it? Move your cursor over it carefully, slowly, and see if it changes appearance or color. Because it really doesn't matter how many people you kill in the city, you should still be able to get out. At least, I did it with a few remaining, without problems.

are we talking about the same gate? i am tryin to get out the way i came in (through area #1 in on the map in the walk through page) .
There is no gate, the mouse should just change to the leave area cursor, but it doesnt no matter what i do. The last gaem i saved was almost 2 chapters ago.. what to do now?

I thought I read somewhere that you're stuck if you blow your cover or don't finish the quests you were given (causing your escape to be cut off and everyone going hostile).

you may need to find the cheat codes and move your group into another area manually. Make sure they are all selected when you do that.
I did this once and ended up stuck on a balcony! So the place you land might be fairly random within the area you choose.

Presumably iblis999 has explored the temple, and can't get into the egg chamber.

If so you would also need to be able to give yourself the Dragon Eggs as well, or you'd still be unable to exit the underdark. Unless you kill the Dragon of course, and doesn't that get your alignment changed to evil in ToB? Not an issue for an evil protagonist of course, but if you're good, or have good NPCs in your party it's a drag.

I think using the console to escape and add the dragon eggs (or adding the eggs with SK) is the only option though.

IIRC the only thing that can change your aligment is the very ending of the game (don't want to spoil it but you know what I'm talking about) he should be safe regardless how he handles that quest

Excuse my ignorance, but what does IIRC stand for? I've figured out most short hand, but that one eludes me.

I agree. If he can't get the eggs, there's nothing getting out. The question is, does the act of getting the eggs trigger the flag to let you out, or will simply having the eggs on your be sufficient? Only way to find out is to try.
