missing a priest

Post by Shine »

Hi
I seem to have lost a priest of Helm. After listening to the Eyeless priest try to convert the pedestrians in the Temple district, the Helm priest asked me to meet him in his temple.
However, when I get there (going to that platform on the left where he usually is) there is no one there except a few knights who have little to say.

Any idea what I'm missing?

Hmm... I remember having this problem myself last time I played...

Have you tried to do some quest after hearing the convert? Or sleep a bit?
If I recall correctly the priest didn't appear there at first, but after some time he suddenly was there...

So maybe sleeping a bit or doing a quest or two may help

What is the class and alignment of your main character? If the protagonist is a priest of either Lathander or Talos then the temple of the relevant god should give the Unseeing eye quest in my experience.

Did you go into the correct temple? On mine, he told me to visit him in the Helm temple, then he promptly walked into the other temple (Temple of Lathander). I followed him, not paying attention to the fact he disappeared into the wrong one. Took me a few moments to figure it out.

It sounds like you're in the Temple of Lathander, not the Temple of Helm. The Temple of Helm has small room to the left and right (not platforms), and High Watcher Oisig is standing just a few feet inside the main entrance.

Yes, he was in the wrong temple, right inside the entrance. He told me to meet him in the other temple, for whatever reason. Eventually I thought to go back to see if he got stuck and, sure enough, he was still hanging around the other temple. So we had our talk about the quest there.
Strange, in previous play-throughs he always ended up on the left platform of the right-hand temple (as opposed to the one near the area exit)
I wonder where he'll be when I complete the quest.
