NWN 2 ACT 3 Game is Hanging

I hope someone in Tech Support can help me with a problem I have been run into in Act 3. My game goes into a hard hang when I left click on one of my characters and the only way out is a forced shutdown of my computer.

This started about eleven days ago and I went back to an earlier save and everything was working fine. Now it is back. The only possible way around it is to go back to a save that is probably 12 days old and start from there.

I would appreciate it if someone would look at the post I put on NWN 2 forum as it pretty well details the problem. Here is the link:

The character Sand got stuck running in place on the portal in and out of Crossroads Keep area. I managed to get him unstuck and was doing some crafting of items for my party. I left clicked on him and the game hung and it hung again after I saved in the CK basement. I shut my computer down and when I loaded the save again I left the basement to the portal out of the CK area and switched Ammon Jerro in for for him. I later switched Sand back in as I went to the Circle of the Mere to finish Elanee's quest because he tends to cast more spells than Jerro who rarely casts any spells. I also find Sand's spells far more useful. My characters were all level 17 by then except for Neeshka who is always one level behind.

Thanks for any help you can give as I don't look forward to going back 12 days and restarting from there if it fixes Sand. I almost forgot that lately when I have Sand in my party and we exit CK Keep area Sand gets lost and I usually find him back in the Keep but don't dare to left click on him even to check his inventory.
