I have a slight problem - a bug caused by me installing some mods and patches in the wrong order means that i have to uninstall the game then reinstall it, and then the patches and mods in the right order. the problem being that i think the character i made is quite nifty, and i dont really want to start again. is there any way i can keep the game whilst i reinstall, is my basic question?
thanks in advance for any answer - these forums are really useful, i look on them often and can nearly always find answers to my problems without even having to post.
The save games aren't deleted if you uninstall IIRC, so you might be able to keep on playing your game after reinstalling everything.
If you only want to keep your character you could just export and reimport him after the fresh install.
