I was disappointed.
It's mainly save-fight-die-reload hack and slash. The graphics are disappointing even compared to much older games, the 3D view is just chaotic and the henchmen are stupid as hell.

If you're really into D&D and the Forgotten Realms in particulair I highly recommend Neverwinter Nights. If you are not I'd say there are better games for you.

Its not the best game I ever played but certainly not the worst ever. I thought Pool of Radiance was better but Dungeon Siege was not as good if you have played either of them. I think its worth buying but I would recommend the Diamond Edition because it includes 6 different campaigns.

Yup it's worth it, and definitely better than NWN2
The problem is that the people with the most ridiculous ideas are always the people who are most certain of them.

You really should look this information up, it can be found everywhere. The levelcap for the original NWN is 20, if you get the Hordes Of The Underdark expansion it will be level 40.
