Hello and welcome to the forums, Aerris.
Atris didn't become Darth Traya. It's Kreia who became Darth Traya. Play the game further and you'll know soon enough.

Really? Hmm. I didn't know that. I never bothered looking up for more information about the KOTOR series. Only in KOTOR 2 then I went and dig up more information since there are a lot of plot holes and parts of the story that didn't make much sense (not in-depth. Just enough to fill up the plot holes in the game).RandomPrecision wrote:No, actually, I've heard it was originally intended that Atris could be Darth Traya. There are only scattered references though, not enough that it could be reconstructed from existing data.

I actually prefer it that way. The ambiguity makes it more interesting. Frustrating as well, but interesting nonetheless.Ergophobia wrote:That would make perfect sense, I guess... still, it would be awesome if things like that were made a little more clear instead of letting us figure it all out.
I'd not heard that about Atris, but I seem to remember finding the hint that mr_sir mentioned. I was thinking about how Atris' approach to such a role would differ from Kreia's, though - she seems to have much more of an inferiority complex, for starters.
I don't mind stories that requires some thinking provided that they add up eventually. Not those that leaves parts of the plot hanging as what you have noticed in KOTOR 2. Never been a fan of complex stories anyway, to be honest. I still prefer stories which are much more cohesive and straightforward.Ergophobia wrote:That would make perfect sense, I guess... still, it would be awesome if things like that were made a little more clear instead of letting us figure it all out.
