Goblins in the game (SPOILERS)

Post by john smiley »

I'm at the beginng of the ps3 game(I'm an imperial) right before a birthsign is able to be picked. What is the more easy way to kill the goblins at the beginning of the game, it seems so easy for them to kill ones character and so hard for ones character to kill them. I've tried shooting them with arrows, only to find out a poison (spell?) has to be put on the arrow for it to do anything. Pushing the roll of logs of course killed the two down the hill. But I'm just looking for better options. :D And Think I might try the warrior birth sign?

Per the sticky thread at the top of the forum, put a SPOILER tag in threads like this one, okay? I'll change this thread for you, but from then on, you're on your own. I can tell you that your threads will mysteriously vanish if they lag that tag.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

If you're having that much trouble, I'd suggest dragging the difficulty slider (on the options menu) to the left a little bit. That should let you get familiar with the controls, combat and spell system until you're ready to lay waste to the evil humanoids.
Can the answer to this question be "No"?

Like Belthan said, move your slider for the skill level DOWN...if your getting killed by goblins in the beginning (they dont do that much dmg) then you must have your difficulty set WAY to high...try moving it down then improving your skills before ya move that bad boy up ;)
