defeat every one who plays pazaak in the pazaak den as for the droid get bao dur to fix him so he gives up the game. the the champ will come in you need to persuade him to stop playing or he is hard to beat. after you have done that head back to you ship and you should get your message on the way the rest just folds out.pheonix4937 wrote:i killed the red eclipse and then just left to korriban, now i came back to nar shaddaa and i didn't get a message and now the exchange hasnt noticed me, and he isnt in the bar, and i havent met mira, any help or suggestions is appreciated
While the Red Eclipse and the Exchange message are supposed to be triggered at the same time (and are in 95 per cent of games,) it's known to be buggy. Sometimes Red Eclipse triggers when you haven't been noticed by the Exchange. (One time Red Eclipse triggered immediately after I arrived!)
Carry on doing stuff on Naa Shaddaa that affects the Exchange. I've never failed to get noticed that way. I'm told though, that you can bribe the little mousy person near the cantina to get noticed, if all else fails.
Otherwise, it's the old advice; go back to the save when you first arrived on Naa Shaddaa and try again
Carth: I didn't think playing Pazaak actually affected the Exchange's view of you? I must look into that...

Another problem on Nar Shaddaa (Galactic Reunification)
Essentially, I've done all I can on this planet.
I persuaded both the Exchange and the Serocco to ease off on the refugees, cured Geriel's illness, convinced Saquesh to release the little girl etc.
The one quest I can't complete is the reunification mission. To free Lootra's wife (don't remember the name right now) you have to get the guards to back off.
While this could be easily done by picking a fight with them, that course of action will get me DS points (which I'm trying to avoid).
Saquesh' conversation options do not involve the subject of Lootra - I was hoping to persuade/force him to let the woman out of the refugee camp, but that's not an option anymore.
Kinda stuck here.
I know it's only a bonus mission, but I'd just like to complete it anyway. Any tips?
Thanks,
Carrie

Here's the bizarre thing - after reading this thread a few weeks ago, I happened to start a new game of K2 and have had exactly the same problem - both that the exchange won't notice me and that I can't get Lootra out of the refugee camp! Damn this playing LS... DS is so much easier for getting ont he wrong side of people...Caranthe wrote: Saquesh' conversation options do not involve the subject of Lootra - I was hoping to persuade/force him to let the woman out of the refugee camp, but that's not an option anymore.

Ds
For the sake of some Dark Side points isnt it worth completing this side quests for the eventual benefits and rewards?
Oh and what about talking to that little sqeaking guy who stands outside the pazaak den near the door, across from the rough guys who want to beat up one of the pazaak players?
He can make you have different effects on the exchange just by paying him.

For the record, I have NO problem getting noticed by the Exchange. In fact, I don't even feel I have to go out of my way to do so.Darth_Ruin wrote:For the sake of some Dark Side points isnt it worth completing this side quests for the eventual benefits and rewards?.
Usually, by the time I'm done with the missions on NS (Fassa, Vogga, the refugees) I get the invitation from Visquis and walk neatly into his trap..
And of course a big NO there, Darth Ruin, no purpose, high as it may be, justifies willingly taking DS points. Doing the wrong thing for the right reasons is still doing wrong!
(But then, such advice is to be expected from a misguided soul like you.

There is a way to complete this mission to the LS without getting any DS points. It goes as follows.
1) Enter the Refugee Area peacefully, either by paying the guards or persuading them tou're not worth fighting
2) Don't talk to Aiida yet. Insted talk to Hussef. Ask him about the exhange and he'll tell you all about how they're mistreating the refugees.
3) Go into the Exchange and talk to Saquesh. Finish all the conversations you want to have with him, then kill him. This may seem like an evil act, but actually gives LSPs; presumably killing a gangster who is harming innocents is considered LS. (the dialogue option you want is to lay off the refugees or you'll kill him. This only appears after you have talked to Hussef)
4) Once Saquesh goes hostile every member of the Exchange goes instantly hostile too. This includes the guards on the gate. Return to the entry gate and the guards will attack you spontaneously, without dialogue. Kill them. No alignment points.
5) Now go talk to Aiida. Tell her the way is clear. She'll run off to her husband. Go abck to the flop house. The to of them will thank you and give you a shiny thing.

well, I have had it several times where I had to still do stuff to get noticed after I met the Red Eclipse. I just kept doing them until I got the message. The biggest thing i can think of getting noticed more is to have that little alien outside the Pazaak Den and Bar to get the Exchange to notice you more for 2000 credits.
