I tried searching through the forum here, but can't find what I'm looking for. I don't have the game manual handy either...
Is there a list anywhere of how much xp/adv points a character gets per level? Am I correct in assuming that bascially xp=adv? I think when you "level" you get a bonus batch of xp/adv points, but I have no idea what that is at each level. Are the points per level, points per monster and/or bonus points at levelling affected at all by the game difficulty setting? I'm working on a little levelling/character building program of sorts and I need to know the xp/adv point totals at level increments to make it work the way I want.
Secondly, I've seen the old skill cost information on another website... it details the formulas used to determine costs. They don't seem correct for the CE though. In fact, it looks like the core classes are getting a "special" learning bonus on certain skills beyond the normal 25%. (Adept on Celestial, Mage on Arcane, Warrior on Weapons, etc) I haven't checked to see if this occurs with any tier 2 or 3 classes yet.

ADV/EXP. relationship
I actually have the .pdf manual, and it says nothing about the EXP. points needed for each level. Also, i think you are right in stating that ADV.=EXP. points. i kinda figured that out after fighting enemies in FG that the ADV you get is equal to the EXP. you get.
That doesn't change how annoying it is to get ADV early on in the game, though.
