Technical question re:movement

I'm only at the Pits, but having problems "steering" and doing stuff. eg: when going to a chest, my hero won't go near it. It doesn't light up unless I hit [tab]. She constantly spins even with my cursor in the center of the screen and won't follow where I tell her to go - in any camera mode. This is only happening now in the Pits. It happened once before somewhere but re-loading fixed it. Not this time tho. Anybody have a "fix" idea?

Also when using "y" to break open a chest do the contents disappear?

Hmm... sounds like you have problems with mouse... do you have any other problems, like cursor jumping around the screen when moving your mouse? Do you use wireless mouse and keyboard?

Oh, and bashing the chests open doesn't make the content disappear...

Upgraded to 1.68...

and that helped with the insane movement stuff. Still get the yellow "patches" on surrounding areas at random but doesn't affect the gameplay. Thanks for your reply Kipi. My mouse and keyboard are just fine.
