Sluggish loading

For some days now, GB has been loading very slowly for me. Often the loading will stall, and I have to stop and reload. Sometimes the page shows up when I hit the stop botton.

I don't have this problem with other websites. Is somebody else experiencing the same problems?

I got an error message and GB stopped loading altogether yesterday. I figured it was probably a problem at my end.

Actually i have noticed the problem with a lot of Websites recently. Not just GB. The Web is becoming so jam pact full of terrible adn buggy websites it just slows it down for all of the others that have merit.

This might have something to do with that internet bug that was going around.

Well i remember in BGdungeon tavern, we sometimes couldn't get in to some forums because of so many people on the boards. Maybe thats why some boards are taking longer to load.

This is strange indeed. I still have the same problems with GB, but not with anything else.

I'm not having any problems... most UBBs do this though, just click "Refresh".

This site's board has always been one of the slower boards i frequent. I always just thought it was an underpowered server or slow internet connection that the server has.

I went to a much slower board. I don't think GB is that slow.

I'm not either. I think if too many people are on at once it goes slower for the people who logged on later.

Well I definitely have a problem and it seems confined to Gamebanshee. I have no problems elsewhere on the net, but as soon as I load up GB, not only do I have sluggish page loading, and too many time outs, it also slows up my connection – creating lag everywhere else even when I leave GB. I need to reconnect to lose the lag, then my browser has to refresh…. Also when typing, I miss every other letter or space – I initially though my keyboard needed replacing *shrugs* Only in GB...

what is happening?

Nothing happening on my end.
It is pretty fast.
But it could be because i have a fast connection?
