Skipping the opening cinematic
I've seen the opening cinematic more times than i'd care to count. Does anyone know a way to skip it?

Ways to skip the opening cinematic
I suggest going for a meal, taking a shower, or doing a little housekeeping. By the time you get back, you'll be standing by the door ready to go

Talking about the opening cinematic....
I thought the Nosferatu opening game cinematic had to be different.
I mean - your character wouldn't sleep with a hideous Nosferatu when he was human, right?
So the opening for the Nosferatu makes no sense. You sleep with a Ventrue-looking chick and become a hideous monster? And than they execute the good looking woman? She's supposed to be your sire?? HOW? Like you slept with a nice looking girl than a Nossie comes by and bites you while you were dead drunk or something. But then they'd have to execute the Nosferatu sire, not the woman you slept with.
It just makes no sense.

As I recall, nossie is under a glamour of some kind- she reverts to her normal form during the trial.Lukeatus wrote:I thought the Nosferatu opening game cinematic had to be different.

As for skipping it, I believe there is a mod that enabled you to do this but I can't remember where. Scout the forums at Planet Vampire that seems to be the most active modding ommunity.

I think the console has a command for this, I believe it's vskip_intro. You have to do this before the "start new game" command tho.the_limey wrote:As I recall, nossie is under a glamour of some kind- she reverts to her normal form during the trial.

If you set your screen resolution to 1024x768 and then start a new character; on the character creation screen, there is a box that you can check (in the bottom right), that will skip the entire first cinematic, in the theatre.
