Limited Wish question

Post by Loredweller »

Hi,
there is mentioned in description of one spell that destroyed might be brought back by limited wish spell. Nonetheless i've never met such a choice. So i wonder if i've missed something or it is relict from some designed feature never realized in the game due to some reason.
TIA,
L.

Hi!
Do you mean that there is spell description mentioning that Limited Wish spell can bring back destroyed items? I have not seen this, and never got it as a choice when using the Limited wish spell. What kind of destroyed things are you referring to? Maybe there is some other way.

I think Limited Wish depends on the Wisdom or Intelligence of the casting character when giving you the options.

I tried casting it with Nalia and then Aerie, and one of them had more options than the other (I can't remember which)

All the choices are Wisdom-based, as I recall. At the low end of the scale, you get the foolish choices; the wiser the caster is, the more "shrewd" choices show up.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

I think Loredweller refers to the Death Spell. I recall it from the spell descriptions in the game manual (Look, my memory is soooooooo good Image

The description for the death spell says something like: "...instantly kills anyone in the area with n Hit Dice or less, but a character slain in this manner can be brought back to life via a wish..."

@Loredweller, you mean this one right?

But you never die from a death spell, so don't worry about it. Your summoned creatures die from enemy DS, but I don't think limited wish brings them back (never tried it) and I don't bother either. Just summon more!

Vicsun, I certainly agree with your assertion that you are an unpleasant person. ~Chanak

Yeah, quite right, and i do not fear the protagonist might be to recall for understandable reasons. However, my party members could, and sometimes happens they are gone alive, so i would dearly wish a wish like "I wish to see <name here> in my party again" (you might recognize, how many wishes in one sentence i have Image )
No fate, i see...
