The Vile Lair or Knights of the Nine

Post by Arok2092 »

I was wondering, I can only get one for right now but should I get The Vile Lair or Knights of the Nine. I heard people saying Knights of the NIne was hard and kind of pointless but I'm also a mostly evil character so I didn't know if Vile Lair would be better. Opinions please!

Depends on whether you want cool stuff or a new quest that will take some time to finish.

The Vile Lair is a cool base of operations for an evil character and has a number of useful "furnishings" (like a garden of alchemy ingredients for making poisons/potions and plenty of other cool stuff that I won't spoil), but as a quest it's pretty lame.

KOTN is a cool and involved quest, but I agree it's fairly challenging. I wouldn't say pointless, but it does feel kind of "goody two shoes" for an evil character.

You might also consider Mehrune's Razor if you don't already have it. The quest is interesting and deep enough you won't finish it in an hour, and there are some pretty cool rewards too.
Can the answer to this question be "No"?

i do believe if you purchase knights of the nine on disc it comes with vile lair and all the other official mods. Belthan is spot on with his description of mehrunes razor.

Why don't you simply check on the Web? The prices can be found in the various third party marketplace sites (Amazon, eBay, etc), and you can check out the stores need you.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

True, but you have to make quite a journey for it, i myself had to make that round twice, because my infamy got too high, and wasn't able to to wear the Crusader stuff anymore.
