Marlowe bug?

When I came to Amkathran and entered the inn for the first time, all I could see was a sleeping woman and a child. Isn't Marlowe supposed to greet you there? I also tried to rest and when I came in to the inn at daytime I found a woman as well (a commoner or something) running for the door while accusing me for theft (I just couldn't keep my fingers to myself could I? ). Anyway, now it's only the kid there, no innkeeper, no Marlowe.

Anyone experienced something similar?

sounds like you entered the wrong door. The house with the woman and child is used to climb up the ladder to the upper levels and rooftops. The one to the west of it is the inn.
