Brown bear vs Black bear

And here is another question:

I am not sure what is the difference between the Black and Brown bear...
from the GB charts, there is no difference, as shown in game, neither stats or resistance or STR difference or ANYTHING... i can see anyway...

is there a difference between black and brown bears? and if so, what is it? (just color?)

I don't know how it is implemented in BG but in 2nd edition d&d rules brown bears are considerably larger and more agressive thanblack bears (just as in real life).
