I'm running patch 1.0.5.912.
At the very beginning of chapter 2 as soon as i left the docks district Neeshka disappeared from my party and well, the whole game it seems. I know about this bug now as i've read about it on this and other forums, it seems that companions get replaced by familiars every time you change location and it's fixed in the latest patch.
Anyway, i don't have a save with Neeshka in my party since i only play with 1 save (the quicksave).
These are the commands i used to try and bring her back, and none of them seem to work:
DebugMode 1 (well duh)
rs ga_roster_add("neeshka", "co_neeshka")
When i tried this i got a message that it was successful but still neeshka is nowhere to be found (not in my party or the tavern).
Next i tried this:
rs kr_roster_edit
It opened up the dialogue and i could add all party members (even from chapter 3) but still no neeshka.
Please help anyone, i really want to continue my game, everything was going so well and i simply don't have the time anymore to start over from scratch.
Neeshka missing and debug doesn't bring her back!

If those two attemps have failed, then I don't think you could possibly get her back into your party.
Anyways, you should have heeded the loadscreen advice, "Save in different slots". I play with four normal saves plus the quicksave .
This game is littered with bugs and saving in more than one slot can help you avoid having restart the game due to some irritating glitch.

you know i play as Shadow thief of the amn and i dont need neashka in party im a thief of myself so i think you beter create a thief if have such a bug in your game he is better than other carracters you can atack from shadows and other things and if you are a thief so you have more quests to be done and you become the master thief after alex (master thief for now)
Guys, this thread is about trying to solve the original problem, not suggest things that he/she should have done but are of no use to him/her now as its too late, or for suggesting which class to play the game.
If you have an idea of how to resolve the problem then great, otherwise this is not the place to make unhelpful suggestions.

You make it sound as if it's my fault.Loki[D.d.G] wrote:you should have heeded the loadscreen advice
Thank you very much for spoiling that for me.yoruba wrote:if you are a thief so you have more quests to be done and you become the master thief after alex (master thief for now)
And btw, your comment is so useless it makes my brain hurt.
Anyway you guys completely missed the point.
Anyone wanna actually help me with this?

Sorry dude, didn't mean any offense. Its just that I can't think of any way to get her back into your team myself.
But if you are really desperate, you could look through the .xml file in your savegame folder. It will be tedious work but since it keeps track of everthing you do in the game, you should be able to find out what went wrong. It will be tedious though and can take anything from 10 mins to hours of looking through tiny words.

Solution!
Not sure if this still helps you at all but I had Grobnar keep disappering on me. What I did to fix this was:
Not sure if this still helps you at all but I had Grobnar keep disappering on me. What I did to fix this was:
- Create a New game
- Save at the very beginning (use a different name)
- Open my SAVES folder (usually at "My Documents\Neverwinter Nights 2\Saves")
- Open the folder with your NEW saved game
- Copy the missing character's .ROS file
- Paste .ROS file into your quicksave (replace existing file)
