Big problem....

I've just got Icewind dale, so that I can play HoW...well this is the problem: I can't play 'cus: An Assertion failed in ChDimm.cpp at line number 582 Programmer says: Unable to Open Bif:data\GUImos.bif...what the fu*k does that mean???

I replied to your same question in speak your mind forum. Try changing some graphic options. A similar thing happend to me where I rested and straight after rsting i press q to save that error happend to me.

I guess you should do as someone else had asid, and blast it of ur HD. I had the same problem with BG1. Except mine aws a BGmain error. I never fixed that one prolly due to i lost the cd's haha!

I had this bother with BG1. What OS do you have and what version of the game (IWD)? I patched BG1 and couldn't play anmyore 'cos of this message.

Need more info please.

That was way back in the say of 98. I ahve 2000 now still cant find the cd's
