SOS call for Kayless/Gruntboy/any Baldur's Gate 2 expert ...

Post by Fatale »

Okay, I can't get through in the BG2 forum cos everybody seems to be posting at the same time, and the forum is so crammed to start off with, and my modem speed ...

And I don't have your emails.

Anyway, I'm in BIG trouble: I can't find Bodhi.

I'm now in Chapter 3, killed everything that moved in the crypts, including Lassal, I'm done with the Planar Sphere, the Unseeing Eye, Umar Hills, Trademeet, the Keep, the Astral Prison, and every single frigging quest I can find at my current Chapter.

How do I move on to Chapter 4 now, if I'm supposed to kill Bodhi in Chapter 6 (according to the GameBanshee Walkthrough)?

Please help :(

Just like Cheesemage says - make sure you stake all 3 coffins, she'll appear when you've done the last one. One thing I'd like to add is that the battles in the crypts are buggy, and that it's a good idea to make an archive save just before entering.
There's nothing a little poison couldn't cure...

What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.

Fatale,

Bodhi appears once you have stake Lassal in the coffin room, and this is ONLY possible if you killed him in the spiked room using-NOT the fake-talk strategy.

I hope this helps.

Hey Fatale :) The others have pretty much summed things up, so you shouldn't have any difficulties finding old fang face now. Nice to see you posting again, though. ;) :D If you're still having problems let me know.

All will fear the mighty Spam Peon!

(Due to board health and sanity regulations the Spam Dragon has been replace by the new Spam Peon. Fear him.)

Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

Thanks a bunch for the suggestions, though I think my problem is one of the aforementioned "bugs" of the crypt.

I agreed to meet Valen's Mistress (Bodhi in other words) and never did. Even after I stabbed all three vamp beds, she still didn't show, cos I think I'm still supposed to meet her first. I couldn't find her up on the surface either, so I redid the whole game again.

Then I got her :)

About Lassal, here's a tip: you don't have to fight him in the spike room at all. Use a hasted tank character (even Aerie with spell shield can suffice) and run over to talk to him, then run back to the rest of the party waiting at the entrance of the spike room. He's really stupid, so he'll chase after you. Surround him with melee weapons and bash him to flying bits (especially with the use of Mace of Disruption) ... cool eh? ;)

Anybody wanna help me out with defeating Kangaxx now? :D

The BG2 board is routinely deluged with Kangaxx tactics (along with Dragon tactics as well). But I have confidence in your ability to defeat him on your own.
