Have I messed up the Jahiera romance? SPOILERS

I am currently in the Underdark, having first done the D'Arnise stronghold, Windspear, Slaver Compound, Beholder, Trademeet, Watcher's Keep, Planar Sphere, The Bridge District ones plus the one starting at the theatre.
However, I turned down the Xar and Montaron quest. I have been ambushed and had to take the hit for Jaheira after which she scolded me. Following that I bought her the necklace. In the underdark I tried to romance Phare just to see if the romance was still ok. Jaheira's response implied that it was. I didn't save. The question is will I now have to do the Xar, Montaron quest or is it too late. On doing a search, I have just read in a thread that that quest is a trigger.

Well I would check if Xar still is willing to give you the quest after you come back out of the underdark. This is the simple, no cheating, solution. For a more in depth response and way around it read on.

First of, the thread I use for reference for the Jaheira romance is this one (watch it major spoilers and ways to cheat).
The way I read it, it does block your romance. This means that you cannot advance after #14 This would mean that your romance stops prematurely.

Now what does this mean? If I recall correctly the way SoA tracks the progress of a romance is through the lovetalk variable. To continue the romance in ToB the lovetalk must have passed a certain level (you do not need to complete the complete romance, don't think your there yet though).

Fortunally the CLUA commands thread does show how to show and change the lovetalk value. So you can set your lovetalk value forward. Watch it though I recall reading somewhere that the value of lovetalk is always odd or even (not sure which one). You should do some searching on the correct value.

Thanks. I'll try the non-cheating solution. Since posting, I've discovered I'm definitely still in a romance with her due to her reaction when Phare really came on strong to me.
