Deluxe edition disk problems

Post by Jurosementalistile »

Hi, I just bought the Deluxe Edition (I think the European equivilent of Platinum edition in the US?) which is the original plus SoU and HotU. I installed the original, started it up no problems. Then I installed SoU, and the installation seemed to go without incident, but when I tried to start it up, it asked me to put in the "SoU play disk" There is of course only one SoU disk, and it was already in the drive, so I tried Retry to no avail. So I tried putting in the NWN play disk, also no good. So I decided to press on and install HotU just in case that helped. Exactly the same problem; installation went fine, but it's asking me for a play disk, which is either a disk I don't have, or (more likely) for some reason its failing to recognise the disks I've just intalled with.
Has anyone else had this problem? If it's happening to me I thought it must have happened to others, but I did a couple thread searches and didn't find anything.
So can anyone help me? I thought I could try and search for a No-CD crack online, but I'd rather find a legitimate fix if there is one. That being said, if anyone happens to know where I can get one, and there isn't a better solution, please go ahead and tell me.
Thanks
