Loading and saving Problem

I havent played on Baldurs gate for a long time, when i went to see if i had any saved games, its just closed down and said something like"error at inff line 89 at load" something like that. i have tried reinstalling it, adding the patch on the disk, do u know anything else that might help?

Try downloading the most recent patch from Bioware.

Check out if the saves are marked "Read only" in Windows.
