Glitch.

Post by Oscuro_Sol »

I have a Mark in Rethan Manor, and I used it to get out of Vivec and get into Balmora (Recall to the stronghold, then Almsivi to the Balmora Temple). The problem is, whenever I exit the manor and enter the Odai Plateau, the game automatically loads the last save, which was a quicksave in Rethan Manor.

I can't use Almsivi Intervention INSIDE of the Manor because there's another issue of it taking me to the LAST Temple I was in, which in this case, was Vivec, and going there doesn't exactly solve anything. That's why I have to exit the manor to get to the Temple in Balmora.

Of course, I could easily teleport back to Vivec using the Almsivi glitch, and then go to Balmora the long way, but 1) that's irritating and 2) I would really like to fix the Odai Plateau problem, because I use the method of Recall/Almsivi to get to Balmora, a LOT.

I don't have any patches installed.. I have no idea if that is the problem or what, and being computer challenged as I am, I don't know how to install them or where to save them and all that jazz.

Or if a console command would help this.. yeah, again, no idea, which is why I'm posting this here.

Any suggestions are appreciated. (:

Okay, how do I do that? I've never installed anything like that before...

Go to the Bethsoft website. Look for their download or support page for Morrowind. Download the patch appropriate for your game (depending upon language, and whether you have just Morrowind, or one, or both, of the add-ons installed) into your Morrowind directory. Double-click on it, and follow the directions.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.
