Find the countess's body, hit the ~ key on your keyboard, click on her body, and type in "resurrect" without the quotes.
Listen up maggots, Mr. Popo's 'bout to teach you the pecking order.
It goes you, the dirt, the worms inside of the dirt, Popo's stool, Kami, then Popo.

Alessia can't be killed, she's set as an 'Essential' character. You may have seen her knocked unconscious, but not killed. Unless you're running a mod that has removed the 'Essential' tag.

She does move around a lot, frequently traveling to Chorrol and back, so maybe you'll just have to wait for her to get back to Leyawin Castle.

ok thanks its just that the countess never showed up to the party, and it looks likes one of the other guests are missing. whoever sits in the middle seat on the left side of the head chair seems to be missing unless there are only 6 guests?

thanks again, your help is appreciated :D

I had an awful time with this quest myself, in the end I only got through it by cheating, i.e. using the console. It's been a long time since I did it, and I can't remember how I got around my problems unfortunately.

On a UK, Querty keyboard it's the ¬/`(no shift) key. top left, right under Esc and to the left of !/1.

I can't help with the were abouts of Allesia I'm afraid, other than what I've already posted.
