What do the cleric kits abilities actually do?

Post by Klorox »

There are 3 kits for clerics, one for each moral alignment.

What do these powers actually do?

For instance, the good cleric gets a power called "Boon of Lathander" but I have no idea what that means.

TIA

The Boon of Lathender (Lathander) is one hell of an amazing ability. It gives you one to hit and one to damage but on top of that it gives you an extra attack per round. Also, it stacks with itself and it is affected by Improved Haste. Also, if you know the bug to replenish your class abilities you can have 10 attacks per round WITHOUT Improved Haste AND use a shield at the same time. With Improved Haste and a shield you can still do ten attacks per round.

Storm Shell (Talos) just gives you a few minor resistances to the elements.

Seeking Sword (Helm) gives you a magical weapon (which you can't unequip) that sets your attacks to three and strikes as a +3 weapon. It's not really that good but the extra attacks are much appreciated.

Each of these abilities lasts one round per level and can be used once every ten levels.

The clerics also have another ability which can be used once every four levels. All act as the spells.

Hold Undead for Lathender, Lightning Bolt for Talos and True Sight for Helm.
