Problem with Auto Save

More of a warning. After I finished NWN, I went to HOTU. After a few rooms it was obvious the game expected me to go through SOU first (eg. I ran into Deekin and didn't know him). I had gone through an Auto Save at this point. HOTU allows this, but it was akward, so I went back and started SOU. I got to the point where you exit Drogan's house. The game Auto Saves at this point. But it would go halfway through the Loading Area and STOP. I tried all sorts of things including uninstalling, re-installing and updating. Sometimes the game wouldn't even start at all. I finally deleted the Auto Save from HOTU and the problem went away. It was very frustrating. Anyway, I hope this helps with someone who may get a similar problem. Who would guess a save game would cause such problems.

By the way, I am using NWN Diamond. Don't know if that makes a difference.
