NWN Story?

i know this is a dumb question but i probably will never get this game so i just want to know the back ground of the game.

AFAIK there has not been any release of a story for the single player part of the game - but many people will also make modules you can play in single player game.

It is however in multiplayer that the game will come into it's own as a tool for roleplaying online (close to PnP-Roleplaying).

This is one story that I do about. The background is that a plague has erupted in Neverwinter and you must adventure to find a cure. The name is Wailing death, a most apt name considering our guild
