Who is M'aiq the liar?

Have u ever met m'aiq in your journey...who is he anyway? i believe i've seen him too at when i played morrowind.

M'aiq the liar is a cat person, i cant spell kajiet <--wrong) i believe he can be found outside anvil some where. i think he has to do with some quests i forget, and ive never seen him in morrowind

He's in Morrowind, but not easy to find, he lives on an island east of Dagon Fel. I don't believe he's involved in any quests in Oblivion, I recall him being involved in a quest in Morrowind, but not sure if that was in the vanilla game, or if it was in a mod.

M'aiq is basically an easter egg which references a previous easter egg. In Morrowind, he had a whole bunch of comments on various things in the game, such as lich, dragons, nude characters, multiplayer, etc., and he told you where to look for them. All of these were things which the designers had originally considered having in the game, but opted against in the later design phase.
