Killed Mage in Sheverash Tower by accident, now cant fix machine with the four pieces. Now how do I go on to Chapter 4?????????????? Please Help !!

I really hope that you have a save from before killing him....
because I'm pretty certain you cannot progress to Chapter Four without him alive..
