Human, Chaotic Good
Armed with kick ass Scythe (Love these things!) I'll get you the stats momentarly, and the bio for that matter.

I actually had an old PnP character that wielded a scythe. I kinda like the idea, but I've always thought it should have some roleplaying basis - like the character grew up on a farm...Anyway, my current character is a cleric, so I don't think I'll be going for the scythe.

On a crit you can get a 32 in stead of 24(great sword easyer but not as good) i may become a Bard/Druid

Incidentally, there's some historical evidence of war scythes being used to good effect. Dacians wielding falxes (basically the opposite of a scimitar; a sword that curved forward into a point) forced the Romans to change the design of their helmets.

Xyx, Isn't that more like a war sickle? Scythes are long poles with a curved blade stretching from the end with the sharp side towards you. You know, what the Grim Reaper uses.

A sickle is exactly as you described it, the opposite of a scimitar where the curve goes forward instead of back. Sickles and scythes were both used for the same thing traditionally (harvesting grain) and I always get them confused.

You guys better hold on to your horses, just because a weapon is in 3.ed rules, will not mean that it is neasecarily in NwN.

But I gotta say I hope they are

I think it is, but in my experience (A)D&D uses these terms almost interchangeably.

Historical warhammers (designed to combat plated knights, so shaped like can-openers) are called military picks in AD&D. What AD&D calls warhammer is really just a sledgehammer.

Mine too Thorin. It sorta sucks though cause a thief has to wait to at least 3rd level to get the exotic weapon proficiency feat to use it without penalties. You suffer a -4 penalties on attack rolls without that feat.

MY char. will use a scythe, and have a whole get up that makes him look like the angel of death. He'll have the whole black, point tipped cloak, mask, long purpleish type hair. Once I learn to make my own skins, it'll be beautiful...
