Hi all. I've played the NWN 2 OC, so am familiar with the game. That being said, I just got MotB, created a ranger and started playing the expansion. I'm getting some strange behavior and want to know if anyone else is experiencing this.
1. I can not rest anywhere in the barrows. When I try to rest it brings up a choice of camp or wait, but neither work when I try to select them. No health or spells are regenerated... nothing happens. I know that later in the game the spirit meter will affect resting, but this is before I even get a spirit meter. This really puts a crimp on the wizards power and she's pretty powerless by the time I get to the end of the middle barrows.
2. I can't control the behavior of my party members. When I bring up the behavior tab, nothing is selected and I can't select any option on any character (myself or the wizard or the familiar). This must be a bug, right?!?!
Anyone else seeing these problems?? Any help would be greatly appreciated. As of now I'm pretty dissapointed and could see myself not playing this for a few months until these bugs are resolved.
Thanks for any help.

Usually, when i tried to rest in the barrows it often said it was ''Too dangerous to rest'' so I wouldn't right-off the bat assume its a bug. Try going back to where your character starts off and see if you can rest there if it's bugging you enough.1. I can not rest anywhere in the barrows. The way you're describing this, yes it seems like a minor bug if it won't let you select any options - Have you ran the auto-updater before running the game? - it might be one of a few reasons. I never really had any problem with the companion let alone having to configure her/them. The latest patch should get rid of most of the common bugs - even still my game managed to crash once. If you have ran updates though, you might beable to see if anyone's had similar problems - cuz im low on answers, sorry...2. I can't control the behavior of my party members. ''White light beams through darkness, beset by immense haze over a few seconds followed by a loud cacophony. Motionless, the repercussion of your action strikes your feebled mind and senses. Still dazed, the intensity lingers that follows after tripping over your own sonic blind trap.''
Exactly the same problem here!
I'm getting soo pissed off with this that i'm actually thinking about trowing my nwn2 game and expansion through the window!
I can't rest anywhere, which means i can't heal or recover abilities or spells.
I can't control companions behaviours anymore.
I'm getting desperate here.
If anyone has answers... Please help!

So, have YOU run the UPDATE?
I couldn't play mine, either, until I did.
Frankly, I think it is disgraceful and unethical for any game to be released in an unplayable condition, and that REQUIRES you to get the update before you can do more than create your character.
I dunno why we haven't all screamed at Obsidian about it. And I'm as guilty of not screaming as anyone... I just didn't play it until I got this comp online, and even when I did, some months ago, it's only been in the last few days that I decided I'd play it, so had to get the updates.
