I can't run in the jail race

Hi every one

I am having a hard time in the rescue Scarlet Robe quest. I'm in the jail and every time that I am supossed to race, I'm as slow as a slug. Every one passes me right away and I can't catch up. I am pressing the b button and am not running in to anything, I just cant get him to run. I can't even get him to walk fast.

Has this ever happened to anyone?

Does anyone have some advice or tips for me?

Did this problem happen only when you're in the jail race or during the whole game?

Can't run

It has been happening on and off. I thought it was certain areas, but after turning off my game and then turning it back on it seemed to be fine. I guess it was just a glitch that worked itself out.

hmm, this is what i did

i held down the Sprint button the whole time (Xboxers would aptly know this as the B Button) just go the way the guards point, and you'll pwn every time
