How do you put fuel in the car? I have the cells but it won't let me use them. Also, can Cassidy wear armor other than the original armor he comes with and if so, does he automatically put on any new armor you buy him? Is he the only NPC that wears armor? Ok, thats more like 4 questions

Right click the engine section of the car, then select inventory button and then select the fuel. IIRC that's the way to refuel the car.
About NPCs, some can use armor, [url="http://www.nma-fallout.com/content.php?page=fo2-npc"]here[/url] is a link which describes each NPC and tells if they can use armor or not.
