Lady Grey divorce (spoiler)
Lady Grey divorce (spoiler)
Hi! Been wondering, is it possible to complete investigating lady grey after you marry her? seems when you're married to her, there's no way but give her the letter, but what about getting divorced first? is that possible?

maybe because you already own one of those pieces. You can only own 1 piece of every armor and weapon.Scorpion T7 wrote:i have a wife in knothole glade, and oakvale. and i'm currently working on lady grey. i'm still waiting to get to snowspire so i can get married there too. and one question: i get plate chest pieces from my wives every time i visit them. but they never show up in my inventory!!! does anyone know why?

Err... not invulnerable. In the PC Version I beat the crap out of her, then got the guards pissed off at me, then the Merc from Bowerstone smacked his club over her head after I beat her senseless and she died. She laid there motionless, I kicked her, then her body turned to dust. However, when I went to complete the "Investigating Lady Grey" quest, she still showed up, however, no matter how much time I spent away from Bowerstone North she was never there again after my Merc killed her, nor in the mansion.

I've tried to marry Lady Grey AND complete the investigating the mayor quest, but I don't think it is possible.
I've married her first, divorced her, then went to get the letter, but it didn't work. She still said she was my wife even though she wasn't. So you have to choose one or the other. I'd marry her every time, that way you get the Grey House demon door and the 15,000 gold dowry.
The good thing is you can use it as a short cut to go directly to fighting Thunder and skip getting the black rose, talking to all the stupid people, and getting the necklace. Just accept the investigation quest first, go to the Grey House and get the letter, and agree to cover up the murder.
Yes, Lady Grey can be killed if you piss the guards off and run around her. If she gets hit by a wayward arrow a couple of times, she will die and she won't come back. Oddly enough, it'll still say that you're married and not widowed, and you can still go and open the Grey House demon door even if she's dead.
