Jumping Bug?

Jumping Bug?
I am having a bit of difficulty. I am attempting the Trial of the Ancients. I cannot seem to be able to jump from the first column to the next. I have tried aligning myself, everything. Any ideas what to do?
Most people who post about this part of the trial have a problem with the last jump rather than the first. Are you sure you're jumping to the right place? You should be heading for the southern alcove.

I climb up the broken column, but cannot jump to any of the others.
