Every time my son catches some kind of bug at school I invariably come down with it. *sigh* Indeed, I have become convinced that children should be forced to pass through a Star Trek style decontamination chamber prior to entering the house..
Anyway, I am once again recovering from an unpleasant bug which has totally sapped me of anything even remotely resembling energy. And I know I am sick because I'm doing, or not doing, things I normally never do..
So, you know you are sick when:
1. The thought of coffee in the morning does not get you out of bed.
2. When you ignore the signs, have a taste of coffee anyway, and immediately feel like gagging. (When I'm healthy I'm an addict)
3. You need to sleep during the day.... for several hours at a stretch, and then you sleep for 9 hours straight at night. (I usually *never* sleep during the day, and I'm a light sleeper who is prone to insomnia)
4. You have a brand new gaming computer and don't have any interest in playing with it.
5. Your mother-in-law has done something vile and obnoxious again, and instead of feeling the usual blood lust, you simply roll over and go back to sleep.
