So who's your character really? (PC bios)
I've noticed tons of threads about posting your uber character build and your unstoppable exploit-ridden toon, but I think its time we started one for the roleplayers out there. This thread is intended to be a place where you can give a brief (or not so brief) history of your character, and share what really makes them come alive for you. Feel free to share a brief description of your actual character as well (race, class etc. etc.) if the information doesn't come forth directly in his/her story.

So here goes:
Isillur Thorne: the Making of a Bard
Race: breton
Class: bard
Isillur's parents were both adventurers. His mother was a mighty sorceress and his father a fearsome warrior. The pair met during their travels and adventuring and spent just long enough together for little Isillur to occur. His father died in battle shortly after Isillur's birth. With the father of her child dead, Isillur's mother settled down in a small village as a wise woman and potion-maker.
Growing up, Isillur often resisted the tutelage of his mother to go play bandits and legionaires, pilfer sweets from the local bakery, flirt with the tavern maids, or pester the local men-at-arms into teaching him and his friends the use of the sword.
The combination of his mother's influence, rough-housing and dueling with his friends, and his rogueish nature gave Isillur a wide variety of skills from magick and alchemy, to being a fairly good swordsman, to being able to pick a pocket to survive when necessary. Soon enough, adventuring companies passing through their small village took note of Isillur's talents and began trying to recruit him.
His mother was none-too-fond of the idea, but one year the blight came to their region and she realized it would probably be for the best. And so Isillur Thorne bid his mother goodbye, strapped on his father's sword, and set off on the road to adventure.
Later that year, his company was involved in a dispute with the Imperial Legion. Their agreement had been that Isillur and the Company of Thorne (for he was now the leader) would keep any loot found while ridding a cavern of pesky bandits, but when several powerful items were found, the Legion changed its mind, put Isillur's company to the sword, and had him thrown in jail.
Safe to say, Isillur holds no love for the Empire. He looks forward to starting a new life in the colonies, where Imperial control is less solid, and a bard can do as he pleases.

The problem is Isillur that a favourite role played charactrer is, by the time you've played through the game, also uber.
I guess my favourite, that I roll played, was the first character I ever finished the game with. He was based on my favourite AD&D character, a Drow Elf Fighter/Mage/Thief.
A custom class Dark Elf, with empahsis (Major/Minor skills) based on all three skill sets. Joined the Fighters, thieves and Mages guilds, but not any of the divine guilds naturally. Joined House Telvanni, and was annoyed as hell that he couldn't change their slave policy. Finished the Tribunal main quest, culminating in exacting revenge on Helseth, an epic battle killing him was too. Spared Vivec, let him continue to rot in his self imposed prison. Didn't complete Bloodmoon of course, didn't have that expansion. Also didn't join the Tong either, I was a thief no an assassin after all.
Apart from that I guess it was a pure mage that did Bloodmoon as well, only joined the Mages guild, also House Telvanni (no other rational option for a mage). On reflection she was my most powerful character of all, she could clean out most places without even seeing a living monster by the end. No weapon skills other than those needed (bought) to increase attributes, Sword/Blunt for strength (so she could carry stuff), Spear for endurance etc., never actually used them. Same for heavy and medium armour, and nevr had use for the armourere's skill, again apart from buying it for raising attributes. How anyone can think a straight mage is unplayable baffles me to be honest.

Your statement about uberness is totally true. However, I just started this thread so that people could show off their actual characters NOT just their character's stats/ items/ etc. A thread for people who put more thought into their character than how to simply get through the game quickly and easily.
As for Issy, he's in the mages and tong guilds. He has a lot of respect for the Tong's honor code, which he feels the Empire lacks. He's currently debating which house to join. He just finished the morrowind main quest (slaying vivec at the end for a sense of justice), and is about to go stomp whoever the hell it was that put a price on his head in Mournhold.
Isillur currently resides in Balmora, in an abandoned house (some dead Hlaalo's old house). He's kind of lonely though. Hopefully, some day there will be a damsel for him to rescue and move in with, "play" with, live off her parents' money with, etc. etc.

Name - Larry (the Lizard) - original name unknown
Race - Argonian
Class - Mercenary
Larry is one strange, mixed up lizard. He was taken from his parents as a young lizard by slavers, sold into slavery, was rescued by the Twin Lamps organization, then brought to Morrowind to be raised by a Redguard father and a Imperial mother. With a warrior father of ...umm...shall we say dubious honor and a mother with strong religious beliefs and strict codes of honor (though why she stayed with such a man as her husband is still a mystery Larry is trying to solve).
This mixture of parents has lead to an interesting life for Larry. He has never really fit in anywhere, even with fellow Argonians. He's not really shunned, but is thought of as odd. His parents trained him in weapons but was taught to be honorable while killing (defending the defenseless, never stabbing in the back, etc...). His mother taught him the ways of the Temple.
All of this has led to a mixed up adulthood. He is in the Fighters Guild but is not really active. He's done a few things but doesn't trust the leaders. He has joined the Thief's guild but again doesn't trust any of them. He happened upon the mages guild while stealing a weapon from them and thought them to be interesting. After spending some time with them, he joined and quickly rose his way to the top (he REALLY disliked Trebonius but loved his amulet). He resides within the Mages Guild today. He finally joined House Telvanni because he heard the chores were more interesting and he liked their...um...less than strict honor codes.
While he feels very guilty about it, he isn't above killing people for their armor (poor Jonas Maximus...he didn't deserve to die but Larry needed the armor for his collection). He thinks about the Morag Tong guild but is quite sure they would not accept him. He has gone pretty far with the destruction of the 6th house and is close to taking on Dagoth Ur. He feels that in doing this, he will find some kind of place in the world.
Be praying for Larry that he finds his niche in the world. He wants to be wanted and needed but not pidgeonholed.

After loading up all the city expansions, new city mods and other mods, along with Silgrad Tower. This is the most modded game I've ever had going. I plan on playing this character all the way through.
My current character is a dark elf named Skye, her early years were spent with Nords, hence the blue facial tattoo. Her Major skills are short blade, light armor, sneak, illusion and unarmored. Her Minor skills are security, alchemy, mysticism, athletics and marksman. The class is a Shadow (mod added). She is currently a level 8 and has not joined any factions or Great Houses, although the Morag Tong is being considered. She found a library outside of Pelagiad and has been reading up on the history of the region. At the present time, she is in the small village of Khuul, stocking up for a trek to the ashlanders camp somewhere in the wilderness. I'm trying to level up slowly and taking my time making the various choices presented in the game. No doubt at the end, she will eventually be an uber character, I'm really into the role playing aspects with this one.

Ghills doesn't know why she's here, although she suspects it might have to do with the unfortunate incident involving her uncle's gold amulet. In fact, Ghills generally only thinks of one thing - you've got her stuff in your pockets. She doesn't think much of right or wrong, although she avoids killing people (it's bad for business), and is something of a coward. Her family is somewhere - she'll remember where if you give her a second, but she frankly doesn't regard them as very important since she discovered that even though she owes them 22,000 drakes for room, board and tutors' fees, they still haven't demanded to be paid.
Ghills regards other people as obstacles to her life-long goal of owning everything, everywhere, or its equivalent cash value. This is fortunate, since her compulsive kleptomania has denied her the chance at long-term relationships. Her favorite person is currently the trader in Balmora, who hasn't asked a question yet. She belongs to every faction she can (the better to rob the members) and completes every quest she can (to find new places to loot). Ghills' favorite possession is actually her Imperial curiass (courtesy of Pelagiad), with her poisonous long sword coming a close second. She would like her Ring of Surroundings more if it worked better.
When Ghills takes a respite from her work, she enjoys threatening people and provoking them into attacking her, but doesn't indulge very often. She has also spent significant time researching wild plants and animals, as a potential money-making sideline.
Ghills makes a decent neighbor, because she's really not looking for a fight in her hometown (currently Balmora), and she does bring a lot of trade into the area. Eventually, she hopes to steal whole cities instead of simple houses.

Race- Dark Elf
Class-The Spartan Necromancer
Blites life began , however he doesnt remember how, no faces of mother or father come to mind when he thinks of childhood... honstely nor does childhood he just remembers being here, live for Blite started weird enough and just seemed to get worse he wandered into an off shore town and met a beautiful woman named Krystalis, he worked in the egg mines to pay board in the local keep and only thought of the next time he could see her, slowly but surely they fell inlove, her uncle Jusepie the Battlemage finally allowed Blite to come to his local farm he offered no pay but provided food abd bed for no cost as well as the arts of combat, Blite loved this arrangement he could see his beloved daily and take walks with her, picking whatever wild flowers they saw (Blite will not even acknowledge flowers anymore due to the next paragraph). Shortly after life was almost perfect, then evil struck, a barbarian village just north of the farm wanted to extend their kingdom and attacked the village where Blite had found a home . He fought thru the battle which was a horrid blood bath on the way to find his beloved he crossed paths with her dying uncle whom let blite know he must escape for all was lost . Blite asked about Krystalis but lying under the tree beside him was her lifeless body. Filled with hate Blite found trouble as soon as possible slaying anyone whom challenged or disrespected him or had something of value. Blite was then sent to jail where he met a man whom taught him all techniques of magic destruction and conjuration being the points of interest of Blite . Now he his free free after 10 years of study and hate Blite has reach Morrowind where he wants nohing more but to own every guild, kill every foe and take Dagoth Urs place as the most feared already the Grand Master of the Morag Tong he is well on his way for revenge and redemption with the souls of fallen enemies on his side he will descimate all who oppose him....
