Is there any way to make the inside of dungeons brighter? I cast the light spell and it is beautifully bright for about 4 seconds and then it is only marginally better than no light at all. This is driving me insane.
Other than this, the game is fine. I have not experienced any of the bugs, but my roommate's computer is having graphic problems of the voodoo card nature. The lack of wizards and the inability to customize skills and feats are obvious signs that this product was rushed out the door in hopes of soaking up as much of the 3rd Edition crowd as possible before the juggernaught that is Neverwinter Nights hits the market.
I can't see anything!!

I understand a patch is due out within the next day or so, but that's intended to fix installation problems--can't say what else it will do. Yours sound like video card-related problems. Have you tried changing your screen resolution, or actually altering the brightness of your monitor?
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.
I had the same problem. Since the game doesn't have any gamma (or any video, for that matter) settings I had to reconfigure my video card's gamma settings. If your video card drivers support it, try looking at the advanced options under Windows' display settings. Also, as the other poster suggested, your monitor contrast and brightness settings might help but I already had them turned all the way up.
