HotU - Valen's fourth speech missing?!
HotU - Valen's fourth speech missing?!
Okay, I already played through HotU once, and I remember Valen wanted to talk to my character 4 times. My order is as it follows: Avariel, Golems, Illithid, Beholders, Undead. Fine, now Valen doesn't want to talk to me after the Beholders or the Undead. The 4th speech, which I liked, for I could tell him he's a honest man - gone. What do I do now? I really want that speech to happen...

I found that Valen's and Nathyrra's speeches depended on who else was in the party with me, and which "position" they had in the party roster. If I had Deekin with me, Valen and Nathyrra would sometimes not talk to me at all, or only sometimes - because Deekin would say something to me instead.
My advise? Unless you have an earlier save, either play on and wait for the speech to happen a little later, or go into the toolset and find the speak trigger ( if it can be done - I know it can be done in NWN2, but I never had a speak trigger problem in NWN 1 ).
